Lexington County held an open house March 31, 2016 for the public to view and meet with representatives concerning the flood maps. This was the first step in a process that may take until the summer of 2017 for the adoption of the preliminary maps which will supersede the current effective maps.
The website is provided as a resource to allow the public to view the new FEMA Preliminary Flood Maps. The maps will be available for viewing online until the end of a 90 day appeal/comment period to be determined by FEMA. Lexington County makes no warranty, representation or guaranty as to the content, sequence, accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any of the information provided herein. Lexington County explicitly disclaims any representations and warranties, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
