Lexington County Administration Building is open to the Public Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Lexington County Grants Program Division is hosting a Poster Contest for Lexington County School District students in grades K-5 for Fair Housing. Students may decorate a poster board that illustrates their vision of Fair Housing.
Ages: Grades K - 5
Submission Deadline: Friday, March 17, 2023 by 5 PM
Judging will be held: Friday, March 24, 2023
All submissions will be judged and two winners will be selected. Winning entries will be recognized during County Council and the winning posters will be placed on display in the lobby of the County Administration building during the month of April for Fair Housing Month. A draft of the County of Lexington’s 2023 Annual Action, July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024 is available for review. The Plan is required by the US Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) in order for the County to receive its allocation of CDBG, HOME and ESG funds. The Action Plan describes activities the County intends to undertake with CDBG, HOME and ESG during FY 2023-24. Public review and comments on the Draft 2023 Annual Action Plan is encouraged. Written comments will be accepted through April 10, 2023. Please address them to the Office of Community Development/Grants, Administration Building, 212 South Lake Drive, Suite 401, Lexington, SC 29072.

The public is also invited to attend a public hearing for the Draft 2023 Annual Action Plan on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 am in County Council Chambers located on the second floor of the Administration Building.
